Our Vision

To create a comprehensive platform for participation and assessment of hand telerehabilitation.

The Problem

Hand therapy is a key component of recovery after hand trauma, surgery, or arthritis. Consistent therapy has been linked to improved strength, range of motion, and overall functional ability.

Unfortunately, barriers exist for participation in hand therapy programs, including:

Access to trained hand therapists

Travel

Financial barriers (private pay therapy, time off work, childcare expenses)

Motivation and Compliance

Our Solution

An interactive interface linking the patient, provider (hand therapist/surgeon) and telerehabilitation community through the hand therapy exercise program and key assessment metrics (small joint range of motion, dexterity, and strength).

Our unique progress assessments use augmented reality, only requiring a device with a front facing camera and internet access.

Our Funding
